Artist's Description

This is a picture I took in a beautiful abandoned villa. The villa, built in the beginning of the 17th century, has a great terrace from where you have a panoramic view over the whole city. At worst, almost a third of the city's inhabitants died in one year from this epidemic. The villa changed hands between some of the most influential and historic families. Each family has added something to the villa. As a result, different architectural styles have been combined in the villa.
